Just thought I'd say hello to you all. My name is Dave and I'm a keen pleasure angler, don't fish matches, haven't got that much skill!

 

I have two Bruce and Walker Flyer 13', a Diawa carbon spinning rod, which doubles as mackerel catcher on holiday, two ABU 506's, Shimano and a ryobi I think it is. Mostly these days the wife and I fish two carp pools on the caravan site where we keep our van. It's full of carp up to 17lb and our best fish have gone to 10-12lb.

 

I could do with some help too. One of my 506's has had an "accident" and I've managed to lose the bail pin, together with the little black pin retainer and spring. If anyone can help regarding spares, I'd be very grateful, I've had them for about 28 yrs and they have never ever let me down.

if you fail at other places try Mick at the Creel, aldershot, 01252 320871(keep trying) he has a fair few abu spares and will post them
