Old Style Fishing

Peter and Chesters, I did a high res scan and saved as TIFF and it came out 26mb, but after a great deal of complaining from my PC I have reduced the file to 2.6mb. Still to big for me to use it as a background, but as I said earlier the detail is staggering when you consider it is from a B/W image printed on yellowing paper in a 100 year old book!.

Would you like me to ZIP it to you Chesters?

Original now restored... Chesters, Write out 100times.."I must not interfere with other peoples pics"

Its Bob Nudd, Chris Sandel (or something like that, you know the antique tackle collector who presents Just fishing) with a very young Mat Hayes in the middle.

They are field testing the very first black magic poles with a weight of 5000 grams!!!!!!!!!

Den - I'd love a copy to nvail@ctc.net if you wouldn't mind. But the 2.6Mb version rather than the 26Mb one. :)

On its way Newt, zipped down to 1.4mb.

Anyone else want a copy (makes a nice "old" print) just mail me,

Got it Den and thank you.

BTW - converted to .gif it's about half the uncompressed size and as a .jpg around 250Kb.
