Hello to all my fellow fishermen and women in the UK. This is a great site and a valuable tool in promoting your sport and it's survival. I fish the salt waters of the East coast of the USA primarily in New Jersey. We to have the same problems that you have with groups such as PETA. United we will overcome these radicals. I belong to the RFA the organization that fights for the recreational fisherperson's rights in the USA. Keep up the good work.

Hi Squidhound,

I was enjoying a drink in a London pub with Jim Donofrio a couple of weeks ago :)

He thought it a good idea that we start to share our problems and successes.

Angling is angling, and the same fate awaits us all.

Working together across the pond strenghtens us all, after all why should PETA be transatlantic and not us.

I really fancy having ago at your stripers :)

Squidhound - welcome to you. However, we aren't all from over there. A few of us are from over here. confusing myself again.

Leon - let me know when to expect you. During the stripper season would probably be best but if you don't plan to keep any, then any time.

I knew it would be dodgy having an American moderator - now Newt has got all his friends popping in for a chat :D

Welcome, Squidhound - hope you stick around. We've swapped quite a bit of info with the other foreign guys on here (and even taught Newt how to speak properly )

Tight lines,

Perhaps we still are two nations separated by a common language, Newt but I didn't know there was a season for strippers. Normally I believe you just pay them money, and away they go

You're right, Excalibur - the stripper season is all year round here, especially in the busy areas of most cities.

Allegedly.
