just back from a carboot ,got a couple of books the best a 1967 peter wheat The fighting barbel in absolutly perfect condition :D:D

guess what will be apearing on ebay very shortly :D:D

hopefully i`l get my 50p back

the second one Bass by des brennen will also be a tad more than 50p :cool:

Ahhh but I have an original copy of "Mr Crabtree Goes Fishing" and an original copy of "The Compleat Angler" bought off Amazon for less then a fiver... And both absolutely mint.

£4.95 and the only one on there as an original copy. He must have been a loony to ask for less than a fiver for it. Obviously doesn't know the value of such items.

i'm not sure i believe you, but if its true that is a bargain!

i'm not sure what the value of a last edition is though.
