hi everyone,

I wondered if anyone could tell me a good place to get hints and tips,i have only been fishing for 10 months and everything my young son and i have learned has been from book video and the telly (plus some usefull e.mails from steve randal)we have spent quite a lot on takle but having lost my job after 9 years to redundancy we cannot afford profesional advice .

Hello Bigman.

I would suggest you leave your gear at home and take a walk along your local river or round a local lake and ask some of the anglers if they would mind giving you some help and advice, pick on the older anglers because most of us old f--ts

will be happy to help new anglers get started.

Hope you have as many happy years fishing as I have and if nothing else it gets you away from

( her indoors for a few hours ) :D
