Dog biscuits

Had some great sucess on coloured dog biscuits. Decided a change was needed to get through to some better fish at Reepham. It seemed to work quite well, we had 11 fish in 4 hours to 12.5lb.

My dad beat his pb twice with fish of 10lb and 12.5lb:

Nice fish. What colors worked for you?

Nice fish Dan, never tried coloured biscuits, any colour do better than others?

Once i tried to see if the fish would take pop-ups off the top after getting them buzzing on bread, and they ignored every colour i put out.

Anybody tried to balance a chum mixer on a size 6 hook, get a lot of throwaways but its a killer when you get one that floats.

Cheers

Best colours seemed to be red and green, they were perfect for hooking, and never flew off the hook, didn't need to be hair rigged etc.. so it saved plenty of messing around.

We were using size 10 hooks, so it stays a float for ever, maybe your hooks are too big FF

. i've found dog bisciuts to be quite frustrating for me because they sink under the weight of the hook after a few minutes :( , so you need the fish to be there straight away.

Size 8 raptor, bait band pushed through itself, with chum mixer, cant go wrong.

Cheers
