Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Steve Burke:

In my teenage years a friend of mine fishing South Norwood Park Lake hooked a perch through its eye.  Unfortunately in trying to take out the hook he also took out the perch's eye, which then bled a lot.  He released the fish and also flicked his tackle, now baited with a perch eye, back into the water whilst he cleaned his blood-stained hands.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the float dip. On striking he caught the one-eyed perch he'd just released - on it's own eye!!

Steve - H Cholomondeley Pennell reported EXACTLY the same thing happening to him whilst fishing for perch in the Lake District in 1880!!! (As reported in Fishing's Strangest Days by Tom Quinn!)
