A good mate has smashed his number 5 section and is pole -less until he locates a replacement.

He's rung round all over with no success. Anyone know who may have a load of DAM spares?

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow - creature, let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I belive they did go BUST just like the number 5 section!!!!!!!!!!

Dont know where you can get spares.

Time for a new pole?

I had a DAM LITHIUM and smashed yes you guessed it my number 5 section, it was a £600 pole and they can't replace it cause they went out of buisiness, you might find the odd tackle shop with 1 in but i'm sure he's going to have to pay out for a new pole like i did. Sorry elton, But that happened to me and i looked for weeks with no success, He'd be very lucky if he did. sorry.

ED-P, Try Fisherman's Friend. I have an old Futron and they are still selling spares for that pole. It must have been a very popular pole when it came out, and to the best of my knowledge, Fisherman's friend bought ALL the spares.

I broke my number 4 and was drawing a blank on a replacement, I phoned them and they told me they'd about fifty of them. Just goes to show you how you have to look in the right place. I got my number 4 within 4 days.

have you tried north west pole repairs . . some of the stuff he fixes to as good as new makes your hair stand on end . . I know several carp bangers that have had sections repaired . . I don't have a number but any of the northern tackle dealers will have it. Drop off and pick up or post . . he is based near saddleworth moor near Huddersfield

 

good luck - -but even he will need both parts
