Maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I make these but they don't seem to work really well for catching fish (although they aren't bad at catching ladies).

Dan - truth is they are horrible lures. That's why I started making earrings out of them. No way would I sell them as lures after I tried a couple.

watch this space for a step by step guide in to how to build world class spinning lures

 

are they "world class" or merely impersonating meps or other good spinners? ,why hasn't the spinner people grabbed you to work for them?

i ca see no difference n you spinners to what kids were knocking up out of old teaspoons in the 60's ,do you make the blades yourself or are you just "assembling" other peoples designs?

the only difference to decades ago is the simplicity of buying all the parts rather than "making" them from something else
