(Jack?) Frost Tackle

*Ant*

Recommended Posts

They are the tackle dealers who are dealing with my insurance claim. The missus said the insurance company said on the phone it was frost tackle or it could have been jack frost tackle, she can't remember which.

Does anyone know of them and what type and make of takle they stock?

Many thanks.

My insurance went through my local tackle shop.

That way was good as I could just nip in and sort what ever I wanted.

Ya know what?

I found my stolen kit in a secondhand shop in Leicester, guess what.............coppers did bugger all about it. Even though I took them to the shop and showed them MY kit.

That sounds about right Dave, they can't put a Gatso in a secondhand shop.

I need to know if this shop stocks Shimano, Nash and Kryston amongst others. I could call them tomorrow but I want to know NOW. :D

Jack Frost is a well-known shop in Crawley and specialises in carp gear, so will almost certainly deal with these companies.

However, unless the law has changed, your insurance company can not insist you deal with them unless it is specified in your policy. Having said that they will expect any other supplier to match Jack Frost's price and also be VAT registered so that they can claim the VAT back - which is fair enough.

Jack Frost is a reputable dealer, but if you do want to deal elsewhere insist that your insurance company permits you to do so.
