Chris has a number of different handles but those are the same colour as an origional 1915. I have the very same reel and I like the handles, the reel is a awesome and looks much better in the flesh than in a picture .

I have owned this reel from new; I purchased it approximately 5 years ago and I have used it approximately 5 times. It has been snuggly stored away in its pouch; which is in turn is kept in a reel case in the house. It has been more of a prize possession as I always wanted one for many years.

I'd have too sell both brownings ,and as nice as it is ,no .now a scotton long trotter might of been tempting ,and i've already brought the replacement for the JW Heritage as a general use reel ,and its only cost me £140 its a larger sized {4½"} Fred crouch & co true-trotter (i seem to have devellopped a liking of lever type reels) not as sexy as the 1915 ,but it'll serve its purpose.

i've sold off most of my spare reels now ,(jw heritage ,vintage stripped speedia and deluxe speedia ,mordex merlin etc ) i'll be popping the spare browning on e-bay from monday i guess ,then the prunning is complete .

 

no my next big purchase will be something boring and not strictly fishing related ,a 47" 3d tv in may ,a little something to watch me john wilson video's on.
