The reason that there arent many responses is that this subject has been done to death many times recently and the information you need can be found by searching either on here or on google. Newt 290
The reason that there arent many responses is that this subject has been done to death many times recently. Done, yes, absolutely. Done to death, never. UK freshwater angling, unless you are using lures, is so incredibly complex that I'm surprised any newish anglers every have success. However, I know from experience that we have quite a few folks who can offer explanations that make sense to people who don't know the jargon. lee-h, it would really help to know where you are, what sorts of places you want to fish (river, lake, small commercial pond, etc.), and those sorts of details. Good suggestions for a loch in Scotland will be vastly different than those for a 1 acre, heavily stocked pond in Kent.
