Na, it's the green eyed monster Sean, we got plenty yet: Spain suffered its worst drought in 70 years, when it received less than 30 percent of normal rainfall.

 

we be accused of nicking it next.

We still have a reserve of a full years water, and of course no such thing as a hose pipe ban.......... :lol:

the UK never really has BAD weather. It never gets really hot or really cold, tornadoes & hurricanes are almost unheard of, and hail rarely happens.

 

Reminds me of a conversation I had with an Aussie a few years back. he must have put the phrase "The harsh Australian climate" into a conversation between a group of Poms and Aussies half a dozen times in the space of an hour so I called him out with the traditional challenge....."Bull5hit !"

 

I then pointed out that the harshest place in Australia is probably the Simpson Desert in summer and that without appropriate clothing, shelter and water, you might be dead in three days.

The Brecon Beacons by contrast is considered a picturesque holiday destination in the UK but you get caught there when the weather turns without appropriate clothing or shelter and you'll most likely be dead in 40 minutes.

He went a bit quiet after that.
