We may be sending some weather your way - or not

Upgraded to a tropical depression and should be a tropical storm in a few hours. Most likely target now seems to be North Africa.

Note the may in the title. This beastie may go a different direction or may just die before it gets near the UK. Or it may bring some serious wind & rain.

I think that photo will automatically update as the web site updates.

Happily I don't understand that diagram much, pretty coloured lines in the middle iof the Atlantic.

It's nice here today, very mild, slight wind and about 50% overcast....ok for fishin' really.

Newt, I wish you'd keep your weather to yourself... :P

South-western approaches are copping it ...today

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Well, looking better for the UK today.

When I first posted the link to that photo, the best guess was 53ºN for arrival.

Emma - the lines are predicted track lines from some of the big computer systems that model this type of weather pattern and offer their best guess as to where it will go, how quickly, and how strong it will be on arrival.
