just back from the bootfair didnt think i would come any way near my last find the fighting barbel but managed from 1 seller alone to get

The book of the perch in mint condition

a shabby spined leather The fishermans bedside book

a mint Pike in search of esox lucius

A Pikers Progress in vg

Spinning by M Prichard

Course fish briefs faddist

and i HAVE to include my wifes "finds"

 

Teach yourself course fishing 1950

trout fishing turing 1935

and British anglers natural history boulenger MCMXLV1 (i was off when we had latin)

any knowledge of prices (especially the last three :D )

no i havent sold the barbel book yet but watched another copy with a poor description (good descriptions about the item can make a great difference to final price) go for £93 :)

the ones above are fresh today

:D:D that would top it ,i have spotted one at a boot fair only it was being spirited away for a fiver ,i stood very close hoping the chap thought it was too expensive :) he didnt :( i had to make do with a webley carp rod for 2 quid :) you win some you lose some :D
