For those that have windows 7 and have not taken the plunge to test ie10;

Microsoft just released the full version.

It is worth trying out.....even if your happy with Chrome or Firefox....

Those with vista or XP......What the hell?? Upgrade your bloody 12 ( or 6) year old OS! It's a brave new world out there!

Lol!

The download seems to happen ok ,its the installation that fails ,it doesnt give an error message. Will see if the techdows helps

  • 2 weeks later...

I have it installed ok but it needed rebooting twice. Ie 10 works ok but the annoying secure content message has reappeared. I changed the setting in options/security/custom level/miscellaneous/display mixed content/ from prompt to enable but it still prompts me. Should I disable it In AN it doesn't blank out the topics I have read unless I manually refresh the screen or click back on the topic heading.

As an aside when typing here I now get spelling mistakes underlined. Is this a result of IE 10 or has the forum software been updated overnight
