Please tell me this is Mr and Mrs Redpoll,

 

 

 

 

Ajay ... i google some pictures of the female reed bunting to compare with the other pictures I took and they are very very simmilar around the face markings.

I can't guarantee that you have a mated pair there, but it looks like two Redpoll. ;)

 

I'm not surprised, that's why I said it looked like a Reed Bunting! :)

 

Do you have any pics of the last Reed Bunting showing the wing panels?

i'm still amazed at the different types of birds we have in the garden,the other reed bunting pictures are of it sat in one of the trees
