I wonder if they have taken a dna sample? It is NOT a European carp. Probably a European race (one of many) crossed with a Chinese Big Belly.

Beautiful fish nontheless. To bad, fo all the carp's reputation, it is from a commercial. I bet you can't book that lake for a year and prices will double. Fish will pay for itself.

 

I don't believe (just me) the maximum genetic potential for European carp will reach 100 lbs.

Don't know which impresses me more, the size of the fish or the strain on his face....

Imagine seeing that break the surface & remembering you only have 12lb line :blink:

Fishing is the most peaceful & solitary group activity a going. Every watewr is different every day, thanks for that as same would be boring....

Tis a belter, fish of a lifetime. Now the fun begins to beat that weight.

WILL he become more obsessive ( if he ever was ) to land a catch like that ?
