Ladybirds in trouble !

Not those one's chesters you can still go and get those one's....;)

It seems that the wet summers we keep having and/or cold one's are killing off our ladybirds due to the lack of their food being produced.

If these conditions stay now which i think they are already 4 years in the making i see many changes in the animal kingdom be it mammal or insect.

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Good point although it gets to a point where in balance starts to creep in and there just isn't enough to eat off your roses that's when nature goes 'Tits up' as we say in these parts :).

It could be curtains for your roses Chesters!

All,

What Leon was trying to say (and maybe did, I just missed it) is that Harlequins are an invasive alien species new to Britain (2004). Predicted to spread rapidly. Outcompetes other ladybird species and is a major threat to them, the natives, and some other insect groups in the UK.

Harlequin ladybirds are the carp of ladybirds.
