in an old link it said how to enter a website url but in the post it was shortend using the thingys, could someone let me know how this is done eg if i wanted to post a link to www.anglersnet.co.uk but in the post it cames out anglersnet.

i hope you know what i mean.

To give a link like this is real easy.

 

On the post a reply page (or post new message page) just under the box you type your message in it has a heading Instant UBB Code, the top button there is URL. Click that, in the first box which appears type the actual address http://www.anglersnet.co.uk in the second box type the word or words you would like to use as the link.

 

Done!
