seph 0
Just checked the same forecast and it now say's scattered showeres for sunday. That's 3 days checked and 3 different forecasts. See what I mean they can never make their minds up? Paul
Will Wilkinson 0
I've just looked at the various model outputs from several met services for Sunday and the general consensus of the computer models is that the weekend will be settled, with normal or slightly below average temperatures. The models are generally agreeing on settled conditions, just differing as to the exact position of the high, hence the uncertainty as to temperatures. Will
Andrew Burgess 12
Well I couldn't care less what the weather is going to do. The main thing is just enjoy ourselves and hopefully catch a few fish Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional http://www.bass-online.co.uk/
Steve Burke 177
I've been working over at Wingham the last few days. It's been lovely in the sun but distinctly chilly in the NE wind, that's coming off the cold Nortn Sea. The surface water temperature yesterday afternoon was 67F. Unfortunately the forecast for the weekend is similar. However, it's a lot better than last year's Fish-In after the heatwave when the water temperature didn't go below 74F! Steve Burke 177
Metcheck have just launched their improved web site. You'll need the postcode for Wingham which is CT3. It's not looking very warm! Monday looks best, although it's forecast to be wet Sunday night. Steve Burke 177
To the top. One other point. Don't expect to catch much if you spook the fish, both for yourself and others. So please keep disturbance to the minimum, especially when walking about. I have to confess I'm a trifle worried what the effect of 30 anglers at once will do. Because of the low fishing pressure the fish aren't tackle or bait shy, but are angler shy. In fact, knowing some of you lot I'm not surprised! Oh, and bright tops won't help your chances of catching big, wild fish either! [ 10.
