scooter?

*Ant*

Recommended Posts

I've just gone back to my teenage years and bought a Peugeot Speedfight 2 50cc scoot. Now I just need some cheap insurance and a skid-lid, anyone out there got any suggestions and reccomendations?

Pick the scoot up tomorrow, can't wait! :D

check that you CAN use it on your car license ,there was a change in the law several years ago but i dont know if it effects 50cc , i get my insurance from swinton but expect a large excess ,mine is £93 + 250 excess for a honda 90  stupid though my car is only £124  if you can afford it get a helmet with a blue sticker its far safer than an "ordinary" one :)

Ta chesters, i'll give Swinton a try. I did check the law first and i'm ok as i've had a full car licence for 15yrs.

Can anyone reccomend an on-line motorcyclist shop as there isn't one near me.

Thanks :)

Hi aanthony.... online bike stuff

M&P

they seem to sell most stuff, its worth registering and getting the up to date catalog sent through snail mail.... or of course order online

Gotta get a proper bike again.... was a mistake to sell my 750 :(:(

Best not get a brainbucket on mail order as you really need to try it first to get a good fit. An illfitting helmet can be more dangerous than no helmet at all.

i quite agree ,i`m sure you can find a bike shop locally (there every where) go to it try the helmets pick out one with a blue sticker ,note the maker ,model and size (nice and tight making sure your hair doesnt need cutting) then buy online
