It wasn't very well advertised, knew absolutely nothing about it! Never seen many people fish that part of the free stretch although it is rumoured to hold some large chub

The link doesn't work for me, but I know what you are thinking of. The fish must have wondered what was going on. We went for a walk on Sunday night along the canal to see it all. Every 25 yards there was a brazier anchored in the middle of the flowing canal with flames going up, and there were musicians and a big area in the park with all sorts of 'fire art' and more musicians. A nice atmosphere and a crowd of maybe 300. Quite impressive, though I don't know what it cost.
