there is some reasonable fishing round there, stay away from the rivers though unless you're after trout on the fly, they're out of season.

Cranfield:

Harrold, if you are a good boy and save up your pennies, next year you can go somewhere more interesting.

Cheeky bugger!

Nothing wrong with my hometown.

HaroldBishop should try the Sankey Canal for day ticket fishing.

A few miles out of Warrington you could try Lymm Dam which is also day ticket.

Priestley College was crap wasn't it. Had to call most of the teachers Sir and Miss.

Alan Fawcett:

Warrington? ain't that where all the wannabe scousers live?

No, that's Runcorn and Widnes. Nothing against scousers but I work in Liverpool and all entries into Liverpool are a bit of a dump.

Damn cheek! Mr.Fawcett, although I'm a little way out of Warrington myself, there is a variety of fishing hereabouts from canals like the leeds-liverpool, bridgewater, and sankey as mentioned, to commercials like Blundells at Rixton and Partridge at Culcheth, and I'm sure Mr.Lythgoe from Warrington AA could suggest a few local day ticket waters from the Warrington card.

Hope you enjoy your stay up here Harrold

Our perception of time as an orderly sequence of regular ticks and tocks has no relevance here in the alternative dimension that is fishing....... C.Yates
