Stuck a hook with a chunk of Mackerel down to Lobsters one time - they would hold the hook in one claw, and rip the flesh of with the other and eat it. (like Candyfloss ) got a good number of them though using other techniques.

Caught the same fish 3 x in one hour.It was a rather stupid angler fish at Eyemouth about 30 years ago. If it has wised up will be a big critter now!!!!!!!!!!!!

i caught a cod in a match took my hook out of it looked at it again took another hook out of it walked over to my mate 5 yards away gave him his hook back he had just pulled for a break 1 min earlier.dont know who was sicker him or the fish.

Fish intelligence varies inversely with the intelligence of the angler trying to catch 'em. If you are too clever you only catch stupid fish!

this all depends how we judge intelligence, for example I cant spell, nor can a bass.

All I was saying is that they are probably a bit more intelligent than most of us think.
