File sharing s/w suggestions

Have used Kazaa for a while to share files but recently my machine was grinding to a halt. After some research found my machine was riddled with adware, probably due to Kazaa.

Have now de-installed Kazaa but am looking for a new file-sharing client which hopefully won't have the same problems,

Colin Brett:

Try www.suprnova.org. No individual tracks just albums and you can only download what's on show in the different groups.  It suits me fine.

download the Bit torrent but don't load the toolbar when asked.  Click No.

Colin

I can't work out how to use that one at all

Thanks guys,

Have downloaded bearshare, it carries some adware but no spyware and seems to be performing well so far.

Some of the hits you get have their version listed as "limewire" so I assume bearsearch and limewire are compatible or use the same p2p network?

elton for bit torrents you need to right click the link on suprnova.org then save it to a folder ie dexktop find the file and rename it with .torrent extension so blackhawkdown.txt rename to blackhawkdown.torrent open up the bit torrent and then direct it to the file you downloaded With me so far) once you click on the file it asks you where to save the programme just save it where you want
