Bump.

The Fish-In starts 4 weeks tomorrow!

The tench have been feeding well with up to 11 in a sitting. The average weight is already high for the time of year. The heaviest so far is 9-11.

And, as many of you will have seen, the Carp Lake has produced both a 50lb+ mirror and a 50lb+ common in the last few days! Sorry, but fishing on the Carp Lake will just be for those of you who are both Angler's Net and Wingham members.

Please note that, as discussed after last year's event, they'll be no BBQ on Saturday so that guests have more time to get set up and a little extra fishing time. However there will be lunchtime BBQs on both Sunday and Monday as usual.

Please note that I don't take bookings until about May 1st - please watch out for an announcement about then. However to be eligible you must have made a post on any of the Angler's Net Forums by the time of the announcement.

It is indeed promising, Ian. Don't forget we had a 10-11 autumn tench so a real biggie is certainly possible.

Ok chaps, I'm praying for a place at Wingham again this year and after losing a couple of fish last year in snags I'm looking to load my spools with some new line which is more abrasion resistant that the sensor I use for so much of my fishing.

I know it's personal preference at the end of the day but need a few ideas please?

Thanks in advance

What bs line were you using before?

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
