Davy - I completely understand. I normally like to at least be able to play with a rod before deciding to buy and try.

 

Are there no UK sources for these rods?

I'm not sure, finding decent heavy rods in UK shops is getting harder and harder, you can get plenty of stand up sticks but very few of the longer rods as there just isnt the demand for them

I'll be sending an order to the US in the next few days for various items - is there a suitable blank available in the US - if so I can add it to my order, saving money on shipping!!!
