Well ive taken the plunge and now have a scupper pro

 

 

And have already begun the search for extras. Where can I get some side handles for lifting her onto roof racks etc??

Re the handles, I got a pair from Bournemouth canoes, give them a bell.

That Hullovator looks stunning but im not sure what it costs but im sure I cant afford it.

 

I drive a VW T4 transporter so its going to be a game for sure.

 

Bournmouth canoes do have those handles (not online though) so will order by phone

Hey Barramundi,

 

Had a good look at one today at the Boat Show, great looking bit of kit, and we are getting something not available in the UK, are they going to be green or what, they can get the hull but not the deck layout.

 

Will she not go inside the T4, my Prowler 13 slides inside my T25 camper... just with about 2 inches to spare.

my old T4 was long wheelbase and had a fold down front seat .

 

Ive now got a SWB so its on the roof and solid seat

 

How much is the Hullovator?

Hi barramundi,

I looked into various gadgets for getting my P13 onto my SWB landrovers cage roofrack (6'6") but resisted and am glad that I saved the pennies.I can hoist the bow of the kayak onto a padded roller( that I knocked up out of waste pipe and foam insulation )on the rear of the landrover rack and simply slide it up and along.

It all was a lot easier than I first imagined and contrary to what Simon said I don't have arms lke an orang utang!
