Darnsarf,

My other passion is falconry(or used to be ,I've hardly been out hawking since I got the prowler. If I've got any time spare I go fishing).

To get the best from a bird of prey she must be in the right condition. Not just physically but mentally too.

When she is full of stamina, well muscled and neither too fat nor too thin she approaches a stage that the Turks call Yarak(my suggested name). When in Yarak she is like an arrow notched into a drawn bow, ready to explode off your fist after anything she thinks she can catch.

If you take YAK out of the word Yarak you are left with Ra which, as we all know is the name given by the Egyptians to their Sun God,which is the yellow link. Not only that but Ra is described as a falcon crowned with a sun disk or a man with a falcons head, who sailed through the heavens on a boat!

So if you think you can live up to such a predatory name then feel free to take up my suggestion,

cheers and good luck when you get out there,

Jon

Geffaz,

Sorry but you're wrong mate.

Horus had the head of a hawk not a falcon.
