Let us know how it all works out. I'm guessing you'll be fine.

Evenin' All ...

The problem has re-occured. :(

Seems to be OK for about 6 cold boots, then fault suddenly appears again.

Clock can now not be set by NET TIME, but can be reset by clocks reset option.

Stll reverting to year/date/time as previous.

I lose all passwords and site logon information when odd date/time evident, and have to manually insert on every logon site I visit. :schmoll::schmoll:

This thing is a pain in the **se !!!:angry:

Clock faults on full fireup .. have not tried safe mode.

Am running Win XP SP1. Have tried XP2 but could see no advantage, and a few problems, so deleted it and tranferred back to SP1.

This morning .. the time/date is fine !!!!

Your clock issue begins to sound like some bad memory. Maybe.

If you have more than one stick, start swapping and running without one for a while. If the problem reoccurs, swap again until you've tried running a while with each memory stick out of the PC.

Get SP2 installed.
