Hi all i'm after a 6oz dca sinker mould new if they still make them or a secondhand any help appreciated.

How frustrating - DCA moulds, I believe, shut up shop a while back. However, click here for a Google search and you'll see the following...

Q:, Hi, You say you would like DCA moulds? Which type would you like? We stock the Bopedos and Aquapedos by Ron Thompson who bought the design rights to ...

But the page it links to is blank LOL

If Ron Thompson bought the rights to them, that may be a good place to start searching.

Would love to know how you get on.

I bought a 5 and 6 ounce DCA mould off ebay last year. There were quite a few new/old stock on there at the time. Might still be worth a look.

a 5oz DCA breakaway mould went for £60 odd quid last week and i heard about a 6oz one making over £100

crazy stuff, i have both moulds somewhere but i can't remember who borrowed them

That's stupid money! :nonono: I paid £18 for mine and it was a double mould.

I know the tourni caster use DCA leads, maybe that's why the prices are so high now that you can't get the moulds any more?

I have just bought DCA type mould from Dare i say this !! Glasgow Angling Centre, also believe Gerrys of Morecombe has some in, they are the Ron Thomson ones but they look the same to me....

and before people think there is something wrong with Glasgow Angling Centre with me saying "Dare i say this" it is because i own a tackle shop and could not get them through my trade accounts.

the single ones drilled for wires are the ones making the money

silly, because £100 buys a lot of breakaways
