OK, so who is going to join me for a Porbeagle then?

I am really starting to get my head around this one. I think that with a garden glove I should be alright...

There is a good mark less than 1/2 mile paddle from launch where they congregate every year. Come on, who'll come and play big fish in the UK?

The tope will still be a good bet though to - and there are even Porbeagles on that mark, only not so regular. We had two hook ups on the boat last year - and got one of about 80lbs to the boat before it broke off when it went ballistic!

I think a dropped anchor should do the trick. Then hang on and see how far it takes you. If my Dad can do a 13 mile trip in a whaler on the end of a line attached to a bluefin, why not us in a kayak with a porbeagle?

Make a hell of an adventure!

One step at a time Simon .... lets practice on the flatties first :D

Its not the shark that puts me off doing it up here in a yak ...... its the currents .... the Pentland Firth is pretty treacherous at the best of times ..... and that 13 mile paddle back puts me off  ........ just a bit :P

What we need is a mothership ......... somewhere to hide if it gets ugly :)
