Definitely just for the money. Nowhere in the editorial does it even say it's to spread the popularity of the sport.

 

At a fiver a ticket before you even know where the fisheries are it's madness, and just how busy are those fisheries going to be with loads of tag-chasing anglers bunging untold amounts of bait in, filling up the fish and making them about as easy to catch as an oiled-up butterfly!

 

I'll spend the fiver on a day ticket down the thames and catch me some nice, natural, un-tagged beauties!
