polaris glasses

I bought a pair of ebay for £5 including postage, from this guy http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZnatteringQQhtZ-1

The arrived this morning, and seem perfectly adequate for a pair of fishing specs, especially if you loose or scratch them up as often as I do :headhurt:

In fact I've bid on two more pairs, a pair to keep in the car, and a pair with Amber lenses for low light days!

(please don't outbid me on those two)

Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place.

The difference between light and hard is that you can sleep with a light on.

Now I have to use prescription ones and they cost around £150 so I can't change them that often :(

I've got an old pair of prescription specs with polarising lenses. It was a "free second pair" deal, and I paid about 25 quid to have the polarising filter put on them. I tried the same thing last time I bought new glasses, but they wanted £silly for it.

ermm still dont know which ones to get

Ideally you need two pairs,

Dark lenses brown/smoke for bright days and an amber lens pair for low light conditions - overcast days, early morning and evenings.

the actual style doesn't mater all that much, I prefer to buy cheaper ones as I'm clumsy and break/scratch them a lot

Main thing to look out or is that they are polarised, and give the correct UV protection.

World of difference between "tinted" sun glass's and "polarised" sun glass's.You want to be able to use them for fish spotting then they must be polarised.Just too keep the sun out of your eyes then tinted will do (but not as well but for a fraction of the cost)

The ABU ones Andy shows look good value at £15.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
