Thanks, 1st fish from a new venue for me too, which is always a bonus.

 

Will, not sure if its named i dont know if any of them are in there, can anyone think of a suitable name?

nice fish caught my first and only 20 last year, was bouncing of the walls for days, just got in from my latest trip only caught 2 small ones today, about 6 and 4lbs, but at last my mate has caught his 20lber at dead on 20lb. he to is on a high, enjoy as you now have to try nd go bigger.

Nice one - hope its the first of many.

I am still waiting for a twenty from my club waters that I have been fishing for ten years, had a few 18's but thats the closest. I have had a 20lb common (trimley top pool) and a 25lb Mirror from an Essex water (on borrowed gear taken with a chum mixer).

In my opinion a 20lb'er is still your average anglers target weight.

Stalked it off the top, using a single freelined mixer on my local club water, well chuffed.

Done my second 20 yesterday, cant believe it, im over the moon. Different venue, different tactics n all....

Been carping for 4 or 5 years now n all this time not had a 20 now 2 in as many weeks!!
