B&Q Handiline

Recommended Posts

Got a B&Q Handiline (finally!) but it is only 30 Metres. The waters I kayak in are 30-60 feet at the deepest. Is this enough to allow a safe margin of error to anchor up with???????.

The boat we use only has a similar amount of rope and seems ok. Just don't want to do anything too dangerous at my age  Done all that years previous :crazy::crazy:

Any thoughts chaps???

Anyway off out now (shallows 20 foot deepish!)

Cheers

I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

Hiya KishKash.

The Handline is in with the Ropes, cord and Chains. But you can get it cheaper at Wickes building supplies for exactly the same thing. Its on a blue hand winder and is 30 metres. At B&Q it costs about £7.50,at Wickes its about £4 or£5.

Yes they do. But most Chandlers do Mouse line. Its basically poor mans para chord. Been using it on my set up some time with no problems. To see it take a look at SM site Anglersafloat and look at articles.

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.
