I aim to get a couple of days on the west coast when i get home ,so if conditions are alright i will defenetly be giving them a go,only worry about loosing them as the areas i fish are real hard,nothing unusual for me to loose up to 25 rigs a session,thats with rotten bottoms and pulley rigs,but i make all my own rigs and weights so i put up with it.So i will probably be sending you some hooks at some point !!

Got a new head for my tripod today from Anglers choice in dundee, got full metal one this time so it shouldn't happen again, anyway I nearly did my usual as uncontrollable got puled towards the rods, there was a 12lb uglystik boat rod in there whispering 'buy me, go on you know you want to' in the end my wallet won and for the first time I think i left with only what I went in for, is this me getting old,boring or sensible..all of the above?

Dave keep me in mind for the Gourdon trip. I cant find the list of names for the Stonehaven trip 17/6 (but it will turn up ) are you on it ?? We had 6 names but boat can take 8 Ps I think the list was :
