The biggest fish i have ever caught is an 8lb cod off Kettleness, near Whitby.

I'm sure plenty of you have cought bigger fish than that so why don't you tell us all about it.

a member called DavyR has caught 200lb+ skates up in Scotland! He says they get bigger but they can't reel em in coz they'r so heavy!!

Biggest fish by weight 7lb 8oz Bass on the plug, notable to record size (i.e. %age) 3lb7oz B Bream, 1lb 10oz GG Mullet, 5lb 6oz Wrasse.

 

I still got to get a decent conger and my guts don't agree with boats...

and i was once very nearly spooled by something off a pier in florida that ate a large-ish livebait before the line went, carp rod and 10lb wasnt up to the job! Funny thing was almost simultaneously my other rod went and it was a remora about a foot long. Funny looking things.
