Great service from Jessops.

I ordered my new Sigma lens from Jessops online. I placed the order at 4.00pm yesterday and the lens arrived at 11.00 am this morning. I think that's great for a free delivery service. What's more, you can save money with the voucher codes that Jessops give when you order online. £20 off any order over £200 and £10 off for orders over £100. I've used them twice now and have had great service both times. I'd thoroughly recommend them.

That sounds like great service. I've only just started using them and not yet online so always good to hear. Interested to know how delivery was done. Was it Post Office or courier?

 

Which Sigma lense did you get by the way?

I've had a look at the site, and am considering as my next purchase http://www.jessops.com/Store/s12519/1-136-...SM/details.aspx has anyone any experiance of this. It would replace two mid range lens in my collection.

It was delivered by courier, city link I think it was. I went for the 70-300 f4-5.6 DG macro. I didn't think the extra money for the apo version was worth spending for what I need. I don't know much at all about lenses but I'm impressed with this one for the money. It seems well made and comes with a lens hood too. The photos I've taken with it so far look good to me.

 

 

This seems about as big as I can post on here without getting a message telling me to reduce the file size. It's a shame because you can't really see how nice the photo is at that small size.

Odd that. I'm still getting 'The page cannot be displayed' Must be a problem at my end.

Works fine for me, and if I ever make my mind up, its the cost thingy with hols coming up, can I afford to, can I aford not to? I'll use the link.
