Bloody wonderful - how do we get to send our congrats for such a capture - AND FOR RETURNING IT? Along with a little bit of conservation too. This is one young man that needs to be congratulated for his respect of the creatures he captures - perhaps he can pass on good words to his peers.

If he reads this CONGRATULATIONS on both your amazing capture and your immense respect for the lobster and the conservation of the psecies. Well done chap. You deserve the recognition for such an act of humility. A wonderful creature returned to its home. I wonder how long before some unscrupulus potter sets a trap for the monster to make a fast buck? 11lbs = 5kgs and at £20/kg - £100. There are many fishermen, commercial or otherwise, who would sell their souls for that £100.

Well Done Son,good to see it was returned.Conservation gives you a real good feeling inside. One of the Tope that I caught last weekend was measured and tagged and I'm proud to have been involved in that----we must all remember that conservation comes with education----

Hi All.

Just sent a E-Mail off to the Sun at

talkback@the-sun.co.uk.

Asking them to relay our thanks and admiration to "Louie" for his actions.

Be nice if more of us did it too.

Bill.

Great idea, and if could you just let us know where along the pier he released it. :marinheiro:

Many thanks in advance.

Seriuosly though.

I'ts refreshing to know that people like this still exist, just think of how many fisherman this lobsters nabbed bait from and maybe outlived.

Now thats making me feel guilty eating spider crabs

But I think the sea is infested with them at the moment. So a few wont go a miss.

It will save the French and Spanish nabbing them all
