I just picked up a copy of Reflections from the Waters Edge for about £8 delivered. I can see angling books becoming a dangerous addiction, the collection has grown five fold over the last year or so.

I have over 100 but i have never read one ,i picked them up at boot fairs hoping to sell them on for a profit ,sold a fair few inc book of the perch ,the fighting barbel and some of the carp and pike classics but the rest are in my book case or in the loft ,keep going to read fishermans bedside book but never keep my attention span long enough to stretch out to get it.

Strange though i used to read a book a night as a youth but to lazy now ,i would even forget to listen to one on tape ,got a great number of minor classics but not good enough condition to make it worth selling on

I cant see hows theres any money selling a book for under a tenner if you want it to arrive in the condition it left you ,a jiffy bag seems to be the norm today which does not stop books corners getting damaged as they are flung about in the post and putting the word fragile or do not bend an invitation quickly excepted to deliberately wreck a parcel

While on the subject of post never use the word "miss" on a birthday card ,if you put a tenner in as a present you can be sure its gone long before the card drops through the door !

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
