New Hythe, Larkfield, Tidal Medway - Bass?

Hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread but, does anyone know of any good launch points for a Kayak from Aylesford down river. I went for a recce earlier this year and couldn't get near the river other than the major points, which weren't really suitable.

If I can find somewhere to launch I can have a go at catching those Mullet and Bass you guys have referred to.

Every self-respecting bass over 36cm bu**ers off over the horizon according to some very knowledgable commercial fisherfolk. I read this in Fishing News, so I know its true.
