I used to have one of those abu reel's, great bit of gear.

E-bay don't you just love em,in their infanate wisdom pulled my last three (abu 1044's)reels at the dying moments (and beyond in one case)of the auction's due to a alledged rule infringement !!,all i'd done was list them in a simular fastion to other simular items & why wait to one had been sold and another was in the last minuet of its auction to remove them costing me £60+ in sales.

As a bidder on one Chavender I was also a little surprised?? You did NOT have 10 or more of the SAME item listed at one time?? SO not sure why they have removed the items?? How many items did you have listed at one time?? If NOT over ten I fail to see why they have removed due to excess listings.

apparently it was the title description of the abu 1044's as i'd described them as

abu 1044 closed faced reels not diawa,shimano

(which i've seen hundreds over the years describe things in such a manor and still do !! ),i re listed the abu's but reserved one for the guy who won the bidding on the first one (which e-bay cancelled his paypal payment he was in the process of making) before e-bay cancelled the auction,i have of cause sent a e-mail asking why they chose th wait till the sales was done or close to finnishing and not before then anytime in the whole week they was listed or why they didn't inform me of any infringment or give me a chance to modify the wording before pulling the rug out from under me.

 

 

 

after relisting the abu 1044's one went to a buy now offer,and one to the previous winner as i wanted to honor the sale,theres one left and its got a couple of days left if anyones intrested
