When I run a speed test I get around 125 DL and 375 UL.

Is there anyway of swapping, so the majority of bandwith is for downloading?

Ta.

Are you using any software that uploads files to the net such as a bit torrent client (also known as Peer 2 Peer file sharing). If so, close it down.

Odd numbers, what units and what kind of connection? If it's in Kbps and you are on ADSL, your upload speed is pretty good and your download speed is appalling. ADSL will always give lower upload speeds, so if you are on ADSL I would suspect an error or miscalculation.

I'll just add that I moved to this new house on June 2nd and BT couldn't even supply me with a telephone line for over a month. (although it worked when we moved in)

The "BB" has only started to work for more than 2 minutes without dropping connection since yesterday.

I can assure you it WILL be a line fault.

Don't like to put you in a mood but it took SIX months for Wannadoo to sort BT and get the bloody thing sorted.

I told THEM where the fault was.

One engineer came and couldn't go up the pole on a ladder cos it was to high.

Said he needed a platform to work from.

Another came and I talked him into getting up the pole.

FIVE minutes later a nip here and a tuck there and I was on full speed and no probs since.

I did eventually get 3 months line BB from Wannadoo but they refuse to pay the £68 in phone calls to thier help line.
