Has anyone used these artificial baits ? Any comments would be appreciated. I,m interested in your thoughts on the ragworm. Do they work ?

If I could get a fivers worth of the type of worm Im after m8 I would. Infact id gladly have a hundred quids worth. Just how shite is it chris ?

Fishing off mates boat on Mersey last winter,he hammered the dabs using the gulp ragworm.I used blacklug and I reckon he caught 3 dabs for everyone I caught.It will catch,but I would'nt go out without freshbait.

Never caught anything on gulp, but fish'n'strips is a good bait, caught whiting and flatties on it.

I used Gulp peeler crab for one cast earlier this year. We were catching a smoothound a cast on hard back crabs, so I thought I'd see if the Gulp crabs worked. I didn't have a bite on it.

 

Someone I know is going to bring a whole selection of Gulp bait the next time he comes out on my boat. The idea is to fish a friendly match, with him using the Gulp and me using fresh bait. The results could be interesting.

I have used gulp lugworm on various occassions and venues and never caught a thing, let alone have a bite on it

 

Make sure that if you use it to keep it sealed as it will dry out quite quickly.

 

And it stinks aswell so dont lick your fingers after baiting up with it.
