P13 rigging

Hi all, on the P13 there are 2 sets of tapped bolt holes on the outer sides of the footwells,

does anyone know what these were designed for? OK gave a reply of "not quite sure".

I was thinking of using them to mount a bracket across the footwell to further mount items on top

such as rod holders or FF/GPS brackets. This would probably lessen the work and holes mounted

around the rest of the craft. Any ideas if this type of bracket is available from anywhere?

cheers

If the holes are about 18" apart on either side of the footwell then it sounds like they are the ones used for mounting the rudder foot pedal rails.

Have a close look at Spanner's set up - he uses home made Johnny Bars to mount his gear on. Set across the footwells forward, out of the way.
