Angler Swept To Sea

Fingers crossed that they find him. It's really windy here today, so Lord only knows what the sea state is right now

yes on the local news..they are no nearer find him...went into sea at 07.00 this morning???..from the sluice at Benacre.

The last I heard was that they'd called off the sea search and were now concentrating on the shore line.

 

My thoughts go out to his family.

Elton what about having a on-line RNLI fund on anglersnet?

I am really saddened by the potential loss of a fellow angler, what more can we do though. Speaking for my profession, we would offer counselling to those who witness these events, contribute a few quid each to families suffering the loss etc. Could we organise some fishing competitions for example with proceeds going to the family. It's early days and I hope it's not necessary, what do you think guys ?

I think it's a good idea Steve. No need for a competition though, in my opinion. Just a fish in or something where we can pay our respects to a fellow angler and raise a few quid for the family. There's quite a big folowing from the East coast on this forum, and the others. I'm sure there would be a lot of interest.
