When you said the cod were extinct I thought you lived near Stavey - darn south somewhere. The North East is full of fish.

Yes i need a big one tommorow in the cloughton open dont forget to take your waterproofs its going to be horrendous. :fish::fishing::1a:

Glenk paul from liverpool has posted me some fresh black yesterday he got for me off the beach should arrive this morning still alive i hope .

Hi Chris,

Watched 1 lad pull 4 in next to me then I moved and had chance of 3 but they just wouldn't take the damn bait - do you think the bites are a bit funney this year ?.

Heared you had the young lad with you yesterday. Is he still showing you how its done ?

have to agree on the funney bite thing some baits they pull the rod out of your hand then the neat cast with another bait they just nibble at it .

i had the upper hand on sunday , just as i only managed one , he only had a rockling but lost a bit better fish , couldent manage to keep it going through the kelp i think it was proberbly one of those awkward 3lbers big enough to get you fast but not quite big enough to pul it out , i broke it out 3 times ond on the 4th it bust the snood hard luck but thats fishing , gave him a good walk though down the iron springs and round into the mid way , he sure slept well last night

Sure is hard work down there. Not so bad at low water but high is a nightmare. Those rocks are the size of houses, and if that's and exaggeration its only a slight one - maybe bunglelow size  . I've only ever caught 1 fish there but I once stood and watched someone catch a great big bag full from there when I was fishing the snot hole.
