Imagine the excitement of watching someone trip over a tentpeg whilst attempting a drunken pee manoeuvre in the wee small hours.

 

And who could fail to be enthralled by the England Women's team attempt at putting up a tent? In fact, any woman's attempt at putting up a tent.

 

No, camping is a cutting edge sport and definitely not boring. In fact, the reason it hasn't been an Olympic sport up until now is that many class it as an 'extreme' sport, such as skydiving and white-water rafting.

Hold that thought. Many Olympic sporting events tend to be boring, but if we could somehow spice them up it's a safe bet that viewership would likely rise. For example, the Biathlon would be spellbinding if competitors shot AT each other.
